Job summary

Bath Brew House in Bath is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver our vibrant pub food, lead the kitchen team and help shape our menu with passion and creativity.

• Deliver consistently brilliant food, even when the kitchen is flying
• Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team

• Support with ordering, stock control and managing GP
• Bring ideas and creativity to specials and menu development
• Keep standards high across main kitchen and garden burger shack
• Confidently run the kitchen when the Head Chef isn’t there
• Build a kitchen culture that people genuinely enjoy being part of

Sous Chef at Bath Brew House

We7re looking for a brilliant Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at Bath Brew House and help us take our food offer to the next level.

With an exciting refresh on the horizon, this is a great opportunity for a Sous Chef who wants to be part of something with real potential. You7ll work closely with our Head Chef to deliver consistently great food, develop the team and help shape an offer that matches the fun, lively energy of Bath Brew House.

As we evolve Bath Brew House, food is front and centre. We want to be as well-known for our banging burgers, proper pub classics and legendary Sunday roasts as we are for our beer.

The Food

This is pub food with confidence and comfort at its core.

Think:

The Role

As Sous Chef, you7ll be the Head Chef7s right hand and a key part of leading our kitchen day to day.

You7ll help us:

• Deliver consistently brilliant food, even when the kitchen is flying
• Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and organisation
• Support with ordering, stock control and managing GP
• Bring ideas and creativity to specials and menu development
• Keep standards high across both our main kitchen and garden burger shack
• Step up and confidently run the kitchen when the Head Chef isn7t there
• Build a kitchen culture that people genuinely enjoy being part of

This isn7t a role where we want someone to simply turn up, cook and go home. We want someone who cares about the food leaving the pass, backs their team and wants to have an impact on what we7re building.

About You

You might already be a Sous Chef looking for your next challenge, or a strong Junior Sous/Chef de Partie ready to make the step up.
