Job summary

Bath Brew House is seeking a passionate, hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen, drive prep and service, and work alongside the team to keep our core menu high in standards. You will contribute ideas for seasonal specials while ensuring GP, inventory control and food safety are top priorities.

You’ll manage a kitchen team, collaborate with the General Manager to grow our food reputation, and deliver outstanding pub dining in a lively, beer-forward environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading, training and developing a happy, motivated kitchen team.
• Being actively involved in cooking, cleaning and checking standards.
• Delivering consistently great food during busy services.
• Managing GP, ordering, stock rotation and waste.
• Maintaining food safety, allergen, labelling and cleaning procedures.
• Planning prep and staffing so the team is ready for service.
• Managing our main kitchen and garden burger shack.
• Working closely with the General Manager to grow our food reputation and sales.

Job description

As Head Chef, you'll take ownership of the kitchen, leading from the front and working alongside your team through prep, service and close. You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas and seasonal specials while keeping our core menu consistent, our standards high and our kitchen running smoothly. You'll be responsible for:
