Job summary

A leading hospitality recruitment agency is seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager/Head Chef for a restaurant in Oxford. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience in the branded restaurant or pub industry, capable of leading a team of 8 chefs in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities include maintaining high standards, managing stock control, and achieving profit targets. Applicants must be specialists in modern English and European cuisine, working approximately 48 hours a week. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in branded restaurant or pub industry.
• Experience in a high volume gastro pub environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a brigade of 8 chefs to maintain high standards.
• Drive stock control and achieve gross profit targets.
• Prepare rosters and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Produce meals following specifications of the development chef.
