Thomas Franks is a founder led, fresh food catering business renowned for excellence and service delivered with individuality, passion and style. We seek a Head Chef at our Winchester site to lead a team, create bespoke menus, and drive quality using fresh seasonal ingredients.

This full-time, 52-week contract role offers a 40-hour week with a busy school environment, great career progression and a range of staff benefits in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Interest in food and excellent customer service required.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Creative approach to fresh ingredients and bespoke menus.
• Organised with strong attention to detail and standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly in spoken English.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Experience in customer service or food prep preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to provide breakfast, lunch and hospitality.
• Prepare food from fresh ingredients, from scratch, following brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and allergen controls.
• Adhere to company food standards and manage wastage.
• Be a strong team player and contribute positively.
