Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Winchester is seeking a Head Chef to lead our busy kitchen at a prestigious independent contract catering site. This full-time, permanent role involves 40 hours per week with a mix of term-time and full-year contracts, and duties from breakfast through dinner, including hospitality and events.

The successful candidate will manage food preparation from scratch, ensure brand and hygiene standards, and lead a team while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality.
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
