Leisure People seeks an experienced head chef stepping up from sous or head chef to run a busy hotel kitchen in Worksop. You will lead a small team to deliver breakfasts and evening meals, develop menus using local produce, and ensure allergen controls, hygiene, and safety compliance throughout the kitchen.

The role combines hands-on leadership with autonomy to manage stock, labour costs and guest-facing service, including events like conferences and weddings, with a focus on gastro pub-style

Formación

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a hotel setting.
• Proven track record of maintaining high food safety standards.
• Ability to manage stock and labour costs.
• Experience creating menus and dishes.
• Strong allergen labelling and hygiene compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of 2 breakfast chefs, 1 trainee, and 3 KPs.
• Oversee kitchen operations and menu development.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Manage stock, rota planning and training.
• Coordinate breakfasts, meals, conferences and buffets.
