Job summary

Roundhouse in London is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a small kitchen team, champion quality, and contribute to menu development in a busy pub setting. You will work closely with the Head Chef to uphold high standards, train staff, and deliver consistent, delicious dishes with a welcoming service style.

The role offers opportunities for autonomy in menu design, involvement in apprenticeships, and ongoing culinary masterclasses, with benefits including meals and staff discounts.

Qualifications

We are looking for an existing Sous Chef or Senior CDP seeking progression.
You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards.
You will be responsible for kitchen planning and working independently when required.
Demonstrate a passion for producing quality fresh food in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a small kitchen team.
Champion excellent service through quality food.
Manage kitchen rota, training and health and safety.
Design and deliver new dishes and daily specials.
Collaborate with Head Chef to maintain high standards.
