Working 8am to 4:30pm with weekend shifts, you will manage a team of 10 chefs, maintain top hygiene standards, and supervise breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea service. The role offers daytime hours and a £40k salary in a respected local venue.

Job description

Head chef required in the Northallerton area. This is a 8am to 430pm role but does include weekends. You will manage a team of 10 chefs in total, this is a fresh food kitchen that does breakfasts, light lunches, traditional English hot lunches and cakes etc including afternoon teas. They are looking for a head chef you will maintain the great standards both in food and kitchen hygiene. They have a great name in the area and looking for a head chef who will maintain the standards and ensure things work smoothly.

The role

As a head chef you will ensure the kitchen team of 10 chefs work smoothly, around 5-6 are on at any one point. The hygiene standards is very important; they are looking for a head chef who can maintain the really high standards they have. They are also looking for a head chef who man ensure the smooth running of the hot plate, they are open for breakfast from 9am through to lunches and afternoon teas. you will ensure the smooth running of the operation. This head chef role will include all the standard head chef duties.
