Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen with energy and pride in Grays, United Kingdom. You’ll oversee daily operations, manage stock and costs, and mentor a motivated team to deliver the signature hospitality that defines Prezzo.

You’ll partner with the General Manager to ensure every dish leaves the pass with consistency, presentation, and guests’ memorable experiences, while championing food safety and cost control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Leadership: Solid experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a fast-paced environment.
• Operational Mastery: Expert knowledge of kitchen finance (P&L, stock, waste) and safety/HACCP compliance.
• Energy & Passion: A proactive coach who loves developing people and fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
• Guest Focus: A dedication to quality that ensures every guest has a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations with precision, including stock management and cost controls.
