Berkeley Scott Limited in Glasgow City Centre is seeking a Head Chef for a new opening in a high-volume branded restaurant group. The permanent role requires leadership of a large kitchen team and a focus on quality and consistency as the site launches in January.

You will oversee kitchen operations, build a strong brigade, and work with training and support to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Competitive package reflects base salary, tips and a bonus scheme.

Job Title

Head Chef - Branded Restaurant Group (New Opening, High Volume) – Glasgow City Centre

Contract & Location

Permanent role. Location: Glasgow City Centre.

Key Compensation

Total package up to andpound;58,000 per annum, made up of a andpound;36,000 base salary, tips of around andpound;15,000 and a bonus scheme.

This permanent, high-volume role offers a total package of up to £58,000, comprising a £36,000 base salary, around £15,000 in tips and a bonus scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a back-of-house team of 15 to 19 chefs and kitchen staff, managing kitchen operations, food quality and service standards during a January launch, with full training and support provided.
• Experience with stock control and ordering systems is essential.
• The successful Head Chef will ideally come from a branded restaurant or high volume background and will be comfortable and confident leading a back of house team of 15 to 19 staff, across chefs and kitchen team.

Key Requirements

• Applicants should come from a branded restaurant or high-volume background, demonstrating strong leadership, organisational and kitchen management skills.
• Will be available to start in early January in order to be in place ahead of the opening.
