Job summary

The Head Chef role at Aria Healthcare in Kincardine on Forth offers a unique opportunity to create fresh, nutritious meals for the residents of a 53-bed nursing, dementia, and residential home. The successful candidate will lead a team, mentor junior chefs, and showcase their culinary expertise to provide a high level of hospitality.

Main duties of the job

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious, healthy meals for the residents of the Forth Bay care home. You will work closely with the care team to understand the dietary needs and preferences of the residents, and use your creative flair to design menus that are both nutritious and appealing. The role includes a fully supported induction to familiarize you with the technical skills required in the healthcare setting, as well as the opportunity to mentor and develop your team through the company's Chef Academy programme.
