Head Bartender – The Barley Mow, Mayfair

Join the team at The Barley Mow, one of Mayfair’s most iconic pubs and part of the Cubitt House collection – a group of independent, beautifully restored public houses and dining rooms across London. We’re proud of our warm hospitality, curated drinks offering, and passion for exceptional service.

We’re now looking for an experienced and charismatic Head Bartender to lead the bar team, elevate guest experience, and be the heartbeat of our bar operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the day-to-day running of a vibrant, fast-paced bar with a premium cocktail, wine and spirits offering
• Inspire and train the bar team to deliver memorable guest experiences
• Curate and maintain a high-quality drinks list in collaboration with senior management
• Ensure consistency in drink preparation, stock management and GP targets
• Uphold exceptional hygiene, compliance and cellar management standards
• Represent the Cubitt House values of excellence, warmth and integrity

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a high-end bar or pub environment, ideally as a Senior Bartender or Head Bartender
• Strong leadership and communication skills – you love leading a team from the front
• Passion for great drinks, from local ales to innovative cocktails
• An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering an elevated guest experience
• Confidence, charisma, and pride in your craft
