About The Churchill Bar & Terrace

The Churchill Bar & Terrace combines classic elegance with modern mixology in a beautifully designed Art Deco setting. Its unique features include bespoke cocktail menus inspired by British heritage, a cigar-friendly outdoor terrace paying tribute to Winston Churchill, and a commitment to exceptional, personalized service that ensures memorable guest experiences.

Typical Shift Pattern

The bar predominantly operates in the evenings from 5pm to 1am.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Head Bartender

1. Create and continually develop innovative cocktail menus blending modern mixology with British heritage.
2. Train, mentor, and develop bartenders to maintain service quality, product knowledge, and cocktail standards.
3. Ensure the quality and consistency of all beverages, upholding the highest standards at all times.
4. Collaborate with management on seamless bar operations, including inventory control and stock management.
5. Stay ahead of industry trends, ingredients, and techniques to introduce fresh concepts and maintain competitiveness.
6. Manage supplier relationships, inventory, and control costs to maximize profitability and minimize waste.
7. Represent the bar at tastings, industry events, and guest experiences as appropriate.

You are an experienced Head Mixologist passionate about creating innovative cocktails and leading a high-performing team in a luxury environment. Skilled in current mixology trends, bar operations, and guest engagement, you excel at crafting unique experiences while ensuring smooth, profitable operations.
