Lore Group is opening Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers on the South Bank in London. We are seeking a Head Bartender to lead day-to-day bar operations, inspire the team, and uphold our high beverage standards while collaborating with restaurant and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional experiences.

The role requires previous senior bartending leadership, extensive cocktail knowledge, and a proactive approach to training and service in a dynamic, luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Head Bartender, Bar Manager, or Senior Bartender in premium hospitality.
• Strong leadership with coaching and development abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and premium beverages.
• Excellent organisational skills for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing bar team.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences with confidence and personality.
• Maintain high standards of cocktail preparation, presentation and service.
• Manage stock control, ordering and inventory to minimise waste and maximise profitability.

About the Role

We’re very excited to announce the opening of Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers! A new dining destination created in partnership with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global, opening this autumn 2026. Set directly on the River Thames in the heart of London’s South Bank, Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers will bring together elevated British dining, exceptional hospitality and panoramic river views. With this, we are looking to add a Head Bartender to the team to really take us to the next level! As Head Bartender, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the bar, inspiring and developing your team, and ensuring every drink and every guest experience reflects the high standards of Sea Containers Restaurant. The Head Bartender works closely with the restaurant management team to drive performance, maintain exceptional service standards, and contribute to the continued success of our beverage programme.

What You’ll Do

We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Head Bartender, Bar Manager, or Senior Bartender in a premium hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing others.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and premium beverages.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, hands‑on approach with exceptional attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
