Sea Containers London on London's South Bank invites applications for a Head Bartender to lead the bar operation, inspire the team, and uphold the venue's high standards.

You will work closely with management to drive performance, develop beverage programmes, and deliver premium guest experiences with river views.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Head Bartender, Bar Manager, or Senior Bartender in a premium hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing others.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and premium beverages.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing bar team.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences with confidence and personality.
• Maintain consistently high standards of cocktail preparation, presentation, and service.
• Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
• Create staff training programmes and support the development of junior bartenders.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the restaurant and kitchen teams to deliver seamless service.
• Contribute ideas for seasonal cocktails, menu development, and special events.
