Job summary

Aspris is recruiting a Counselling Psychologist to join Strathmore College's Therapy team. The role involves providing psychology services to students with complex needs within a multi-disciplinary setting, reporting to the Therapy Manager.

You will liaise with families, conduct assessments, and contribute to EHCPs and annual reviews. HCPC registered candidates with a passion for supporting vulnerable learners are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is mandatory.
• Experience or willingness to work in a special needs environment preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychology services to students with complex needs.
• Identify and deliver tailored therapy and interventions to support wellbeing.
• Liaise with families and carers to support student progress.
• Conduct home visits and build positive relationships with families.
• Welcome new starters through thorough assessments.
• Deliver engaging, subject-specific training to colleagues.
• Manage EHCPs and contribute to annual reviews.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals to support individual needs.
