Job summary

Redfox Executive Selection Ltd is recruiting an experienced Harvest/Fruit Manager for a leading soft fruit farm in Angus, Scotland. The role covers day-to-day site management, production, and workforce leadership to achieve safety and efficiency targets.

Steering labour plans, training, and performance, you will ensure quality fruit movement and compliant operations across picking, packing and deliveries. A hands-on approach with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in commercial horticulture or soft fruit production.
• Strong people-management and communication skills to lead a busy agricultural workforce.
• Clear focus on Health & Safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for site management, production and operations.
• Lead recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
• Plan labour and workloads to maximise efficiency.
• Oversee picking, packing and delivery processes.
• Maintain site presentation, audits readiness and COSHH records.
• Coordinate with packhouse for production forecasts and deliveries.
• Ensure maintenance programmes and equipment monitoring.
