Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is assisting a Perthshire-based soft fruit business in seeking an experienced Packhouse Manager to oversee a busy packhouse and seasonal workforce. You will drive productivity, quality assurance and operational performance on a day-to-day basis.

The role requires strong leadership, experience managing large teams, and a solid grasp of fresh produce quality and food safety. A 2-bedroom house is provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large seasonal workforce.
• Plan labour and production requirements.
• Maintain quality, food safety and customer standards.
• Monitor productivity, waste and efficiency.
• Manage training, performance and attendance.
• Work with growing, technical, logistics and commercial teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across the packhouse.
