Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fruit or food packhouse environment.
• Experience supervising or leading teams.
• Strong understanding of quality, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Good computer literacy and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak harvest periods.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends when required.
• Good spoken English; additional languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily packhouse operations under the Packhouse Manager.
• Lead and support the packhouse team to meet customer specifications and food safety requirements.
• Maintain productivity, minimise waste and ensure traceability and compliance throughout packing processes.
• Uphold high standards of quality, hygiene and efficiency, especially during busy periods.
