Job summary

Jigsaw24 is looking for a skilled Repair Technician to diagnose and repair a range of hardware devices, ensuring high quality and performance. You will process repair records, perform diagnostics, install parts, and conduct post-repair testing.

You will maintain accurate records, manage workload, and support customer service with clear communication, upholding accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in computer or mobile device repairs.
• Familiarity with service management systems (e.g., ServiceNow) is advantageous.
• Technical certifications or training are a plus.
• Experience in an authorized service environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process and update repair records for incoming customer devices using internal systems.
• Perform thorough diagnostics on reported issues across supported devices.
• Install replacement parts and conduct post-repair testing to ensure functionality.
• Complete relevant technical training and certifications as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems, including diagnosis turnaround times, repair timelines, repair quotes, warranty status, and progress updates for customer service teams.
• Organize workload efficiently, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact.
• Maintain a clean and compliant work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customer service teams.
• Assist with configuration of new purchases and existing equipment.
• Support other teams within the department when needed.
• Maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
