Job summary

Jigsaw24 in Nottingham is seeking a detail-oriented Technician Support team member to manage the full lifecycle of devices—from receiving assets to packaging and dispatch. The role blends hands-on operations with strong communication and technical proficiency, and involves collaborating across teams to keep operations running smoothly.

You will record asset details, grade devices for stock, perform diagnostics, erase data, reinstall OS, and enrol devices into ABM/MDM as required.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Technical proficiency in running diagnostics and managing device software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Experience with ITSM toolsets and asset management is advantageous.
• Must be able to achieve DBS check, BPSS and SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record asset details, including device condition.
• Grade devices using the grading matrix to determine stock readiness.
• Ship devices via couriers with adequate packaging.
• Run diagnostics, erase data, reinstall OS, and enroll into ABM/MDM where required.
• Communicate with teams to help meet KPI targets.
• Book in replacement parts and return defective parts as needed.
• Update ITSM toolsets with accurate information and communicate with customers.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and ensure clear notes in ITSM.
