Job summary

The Cambridge-based Repair Technician role offers £27,000 to £35,000 per year and requires eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC). You will diagnose faults, disassemble and reassemble products, and perform PCB soldering in a structured, process-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have electronics repair or manufacturing experience, know how to use standard test equipment, and can work methodically to return customer equipment to service promptly and to high standards.

Qualifications

Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Repair Technician to join their Repairs team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in electronics repair, servicing, or manufacturing who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment.

As a Repair Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality repair services for customer equipment, ensuring products are returned to service efficiently and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing and confirming customer-reported faults using established procedures and test equipment.
• Performing product disassembly, reassembly, and component replacement.
• Carrying out PCB-level soldering and hardware modifications where required.
• Testing, validating, and verifying completed repairs.

Essential Skills & Experience
