Hard Services and Compliance Coordinator

About The Role

Bristol based on-site most days (limited hybrid working)

Salary: £35,188 to £45,286 per annum plus 12.5% pension, private medical insurance & more

Role Summary: Reporting to the Hard Services Manager, the Hard Services & Compliance Coordinator manages services ensuring building, equipment, and plant maintenance, compliance record keeping, and insurance inspections. Responsible for minimizing equipment downtime and supporting day-to-day hard services operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the NCC Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including creating procedures and system improvements.
  • Schedule yearly Planned Preventative Maintenance programs with the Estates Team and Zone Owners, adhering to manufacturer and legislation guidelines.
  • Control and coordinate NCC's equipment and building asset management.
  • Instruct and oversee Estates contractors ensuring all processes and safety procedures are followed.
  • Assist in statutory compliance actions, including fire, water, and DSEAR risk assessments.
  • Support tendering and procurement processes related to Estates and Hard Services.
  • Collaborate with the Projects team on Hard Services-related projects.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience managing Hard Services and compliance activities in relevant industries such as engineering, defence, or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Understanding of statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Basic experience with CAD systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
