Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Handyperson to join our client's on-site facilities team in Castle Donnington. You will carry out reactive repairs to building fabric with a strong focus on plumbing and sanitaryware replacements.

This hands-on role includes minor joinery, basic decoration and general maintenance to keep the site safe, functional and well maintained. A DBS check is required and there is an opportunity for training, progression and long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar maintenance or handyperson role (onsite).
• Strong plumbing background is advantageous.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance is desirable.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive building fabric repairs.
• Perform general plumbing repairs and replace sanitaryware (taps, toilet parts, etc.).
• Undertake minor joinery and decoration works.
• Support general maintenance tasks to ensure the site remains safe and functional.
• Identify and report faults or defects requiring further attention.
• Assist with planned preventative maintenance tasks where required.

Site based Handyperson - Castle Donnington - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Aviation

CBW Staffing Solutions are looking for an experienced and reliable Handyperson to join our client's on-site facilities team based in Castle Donnington

You’ll be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs to building fabric, with a strong focus on plumbing works and sanitaryware replacements. The role also includes minor joinery, basic decoration, and general maintenance tasks to ensure the site remains safe, functional, and well maintained. This is a hands-on position suited to a multi-skilled individual with a strong background in building fabric and plumbing.

Package

• Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum
• Core hours are 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Participation in on call rota (TBC)

Requirements
