Job summary

PRS in Warrington is seeking a maintenance handyperson to cover PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial estates in the Northwest. You will handle general repairs, plumbing, lighting checks, and basic fabric tasks while supporting engineers on site.

This permanent role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a company van provided. The ideal candidate has maintenance experience, a driving licence, and a proactive customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance tasks including lighting checks and lamping.
• Fabric maintenance and minor joinery, patch painting, and basic room repairs.
• Complete compliance checks and emergency lighting checks.
• Assist engineers and trades on site and support across the Northwest.
• Operate across the area on a mobile basis as required.

We are recruiting for a maintenance handyperson to cover PPM and reactive maintenance across the Northwest on commercial grade estates. The maintenance handyperson will be responsible for general repairs, plumbing, basic lighting checks, compliance checks, fabric maintenance and minor room / building repairs. The role is a permanent position paying £33,000 - £36,000 basic depending on skill level. Mon-Fri 40 hours/week plus van etc. 36k for more plumbing biased candidates.

Maintenance Handyperson Description

Provide general maintenance to the facilities including:

• Lamping
• Fabric maintenance
• Plumbing
• Minor joinery, patch painting etc.
• Completing compliance checks, emergency lighting, tap temps etc.
• Assisting engineers and trades on site
• Basic room repairs
• Also working on a mobile across across the area
• Ad-hoc handyperson duties

Handyperson Requirements

• To have maintenance and handyperson experience
• Valid driving license
• Plumbers mates are welcome to apply or candidates with Plumbing experience
• Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
• It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a "Can do" customer attitude at all times.
• Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks and have a sound basic plumbing knowledge
• Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
