Job summary

PRS LTD in Leicester is seeking a maintenance handyperson to join a small team at a static site. The role runs from 1pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday, with no on-call requirement. The position offers a permanent contract with a basic salary of £30,000 per year and 25 days of annual leave plus statutory holidays.

Key duties include completing PPM tasks, basic plumbing and carpentry, painting and decorating, plus minor project works and health & safety compliance. A full UK driving licence is required.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within set timescales.
• Perform maintenance on floors, doors, ceilings, walls, basic plumbing and carpentry, painting and decorating.
• Undertake minor project works as needed.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and log work on mobile devices.
• Carry out other duties as directed by Contract Manager.

We are recruting for a maintenance handyperson to join a small team working at a static site in Leicester. This position is working from 1pm to 9pm, Monday – Friday, with no on call requirement for this role.

Main Duties for this role:

• Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within set timescales, carrying out maintenance on floors, doors, ceilings, wall coverings, basic plumbing, and carpentry, painting and decorating.
• Undertaking minor project works when required.
• Ensuring Health & Safety compliance, liaising with client representatives, using mobile devices to log works and update tasks.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as directed by the Contract Manager.

Person specification for this role.

• The ideal candidate should have proven experience in maintenance work, and be able to turn their hand to most aspects of D.I.Y.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence is also required.

On offer is a permanent position paying a basic salary of £30,000 per annum, with 25 days annual leave plus stats.
