Headway Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Operative for a specialist manufacturing business in the UK. The role involves light machine work, assembly, inspection and handling of materials to meet production schedules and quality standards.

You will work 38.5 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:30 and Friday 8:00-3:00, with immediate start. Full-time contract and opportunities to develop skills in a practical, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical role with a focus on quality.
• Able to follow instructions, procedures and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out light machine shop duties and assembly to drawings.
• Inspecting parts and materials for quality and traceability.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised workshop.
• Packing, labeling and stock control duties as required.
