Job summary
Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking a practical Warehouse/Yard Assistant in Bury St Edmunds to help run the feedstore and yard efficiently. This permanent, full-time role centers on stock management, safe handling, and delivering outstanding customer service in a busy retail environment.
You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, supporting stock control and adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a practical, hands-on retail setting.
- Experience in manual handling and safe lifting practices.
- Experience working in an agricultural or feedstore environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with goods inwards, stock rotation, and accurate processing of deliveries.
- Maintaining integrity of stock records and ensuring correct selling of items.
- Keeping feedstore and yard areas organised and compliant with company standards.
- Delivering friendly, solution-focused service to all customers.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures.
