Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking a practical Warehouse/Yard Assistant in Bury St Edmunds to help run the feedstore and yard efficiently. This permanent, full-time role centers on stock management, safe handling, and delivering outstanding customer service in a busy retail environment.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, supporting stock control and adhering to safety standards.

We’re looking for a practical and customer-focused Warehouse / Yard Assistant to join our team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help keep our feedstore and yard organised, safe, and ready for customers. About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full‑time

Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working Monday‑Friday 9-6

As Warehouse / Yard Assistant, you’ll play a key role in managing stock, supporting operational standards, and ensuring customers receive excellent service. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe environment and make sure every interaction reflects our values: customer first, innovative, knowledgeable, honest, committed, and courageous.

Key responsibilities include:

• Forklift Truck licence (desirable)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure
