Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor / Stock Control Lead to own inventory accuracy and lead a small warehouse team. You will partner with the Warehouse Manager to drive improvements, investigate stock discrepancies and deliver measurable operational gains.

The role emphasizes on-floor leadership, cycle counting, and continuous improvement through Kaizen and Gemba Walks, with a focus on practical problem-solving and KPI-driven results.

Qualifications

• Strong stock control, inventory management and cycle-counting experience.
• Experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a small operational team.
• Good understanding of inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods, including Kaizen and Gemba Walks.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Confidence working with operational teams and leading change.
• Hands-on and proactive approach to on-floor leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and motivate a small warehouse team.
• Manage cycle-counting activities and maintain accurate stock records.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate stock variances.
• Identify the root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and leadership team.
• Lead Gemba Walks and Kaizen activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and working practices.
• Engage the wider warehouse team in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor stock and operational KPIs.
• Report progress and highlight areas requiring further action.
