Job summary

ProviT LTD is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to join a busy operation in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. You will manage day-to-day warehouse activities and lead a small team during seasonal peaks, overseeing stock control, goods in and out, picking, packing and dispatch.

The role requires proven warehouse or logistics management experience, strong IT skills (Excel), excellent organisational and communication abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure with a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics management experience.
• Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team.
• Good knowledge of stock control and warehouse operations.
• Good IT skills, including Excel.
• Strong organisational skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff.
• Organise picking, packing, loading and returns.
• Manage stock levels and stock control.
• Keep the warehouse organised and running efficiently.
• Arrange couriers, transport and deliveries.
• Make sure equipment and stock is prepared and ready when required.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs where needed.
• Use and maintain warehouse management systems.
• Monitor warehouse performance, costs and productivity.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards across the warehouse and yard.
• Manage vehicle movements and loading operations.
• Complete warehouse reports and administration.
