Job summary

Provit Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager for a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. The role covers day-to-day management, stock control, goods in/out, picking, loading, and transport coordination, with a small team and seasonal peaks.

You will lead staff, maintain health and safety, and optimise warehouse performance using an ERP/WMS. The ideal candidate has warehouse management experience, strong IT skills (Excel), and the ability to stay

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics management experience.
• Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team.
• Good knowledge of stock control and warehouse operations.
• Good IT skills, including Excel.
• Strong organisational skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
• FLT Licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff
• Organise picking, packing, loading and returns
• Manage stock levels and stock control
• Keep the warehouse organised and running efficiently
• Arrange couriers, transport and deliveries
• Make sure equipment and stock is prepared and ready when required
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs where needed
• Use and maintain warehouse management systems
• Monitor warehouse performance, costs and productivity
• Maintain Health & Safety standards across the warehouse and yard
• Manage vehicle movements and loading operations
• Complete warehouse reports and administration
