Provit Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager for a busy site in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. The role is full-time and permanent, offering £27,000 - £28,000 per annum.

You will support the Warehouse Manager, lead a small team through peak seasons, and manage stock control, goods in/out, picking and loading, and safety. The successful candidate will have warehouse or logistics experience, be adept with stock control and Excel, and be comfortable using a WMS.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics environments.
• Strong Excel skills and good IT literacy.
• Experience using a WMS and handling stock.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Hands-on approach with practical problem solving.
• Good communication and planning abilities.
• Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 25kg.
• FLT licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily running of the warehouse.
• Receive, check and store deliveries.
• Manage stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Wellesbourne.

This is a hands-on role supporting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse, this is managing a small permanent team with large seasonal peaks.

You’ll be involved in stock control, goods in and out, picking and loading, team support and the preparation of equipment.

The Role

• Supporting the Warehouse Manager with the daily running of the warehouse
• Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries
• Managing stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks
• Picking and preparing orders
• Loading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Managing stock rotation and reducing waste
• Keeping accurate stock records using a WMS
• Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock
• Keeping the warehouse organised and safe
• Supporting warehouse staff with daily tasks
• Carrying out basic equipment checks, cleaning and charging
• Tracking equipment and returning to the warehouse
• Carrying out basic repairs and DIY tasks where required
• Supporting Health & Safety across the warehouse and yard

About You

We're looking for someone with previous experience in warehouse, stock control or logistics who wants to take the next step in their career.

You should have:

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
• Good experience with stock control and inventory
• Good IT skills and confidence using Excel
• Experience using a WMS
• Good attention to detail
• A practical, hands-on approach
• Good communication skills
• The ability to organise your own workload and meet deadlines
• The ability to lift and move items up to 25kg
