Job summary

Imerys is seeking a hands-on Production Operative to join a close-knit shift team at our site. You will operate IBC and bagging lines, support the Polarite plant, perform quality checks and handle material movement, all while following safety procedures.

You will work rotating day/night shifts, maintain housekeeping, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. A full UK driving licence and forklift qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles.
• Forklift Truck Licence (Reach or Counterbalance) and Mobile plant experience.
• SAP and SCADA or process control experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the IBC and bagging production lines.
• Operate the Polarite plant following training.
• Carry out quality checks and take production samples.
• Ensure production consumables are available and replenished.
• Load, unload and move materials around site.
• Report equipment issues and support maintenance as needed.
