Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting a hands-on Production Fitter to join their Tipton team. The role involves assembling and fitting mechanical components, installing hydraulic and mechanical systems, and using hand and power tools to follow detailed assembly instructions.

Full training is provided, so existing hydraulics experience is desirable but not essential. A solid mechanical understanding and practical skills are valued, with standard hours: Mon-Thu 07:30–16:30 and Fri 07:30–12:30.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a mechanical, engineering, fitting or assembly environment.
• Some understanding of hydraulics.
• Good mechanical aptitude and practical skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

• Assembling and fitting mechanical components.
• Installing hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Using hand and power tools to assemble to instructions.
• Carrying out inline checks and working with a production team.
