Job summary

Bradford College invites applications for a Mechanical Engineering Skills Instructor to deliver hands-on, workshop-based training within our Engineering and Motor Vehicle department. You will work to provide high learning value and financially efficient programmes to students, with a focus on practical skills and industry relevance.

Qualifications

• Practical mechanical engineering skills with strong theoretical basis.
• Ability to deliver workshop-based training and practical sessions.
• Experience mentoring learners and supporting employability skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical, workshop-based skills training across programmes.
• Coach safe, current and industry-relevant working practices.
• Support learners to develop technical and employability skills.
• Create an inclusive learning environment to help all students progress.
• Adapt delivery to meet individual learner needs and abilities.
• Monitor learner progress, attendance and wellbeing.
