Job summary

A hands-on leader who can build capability and deliver major projects is required. Based in Northamptonshire, the role focuses on reducing downtime, proactive maintenance, and fostering a proactive engineering culture across the site.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar engineering leadership role within manufacturing
- Hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front
- Experience managing and developing engineering teams
- Strong maintenance, reliability and problem-solving skills
- Confidence to take ownership and drive improvements
- Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- Building, developing and leading a strong engineering team
- Taking ownership of day-to-day maintenance across a busy manufacturing site
- Improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime
- Driving preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
- Supporting and delivering major engineering projects
- Working closely with production to improve performance and keep the site moving
- Developing a proactive, accountable engineering culture
