Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a large engineering team in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site. The role focuses on reliability, preventive maintenance, and strategic improvements.

You will delegate to Lead Engineers, develop talent, manage budgets, and ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met. This is a dayshift, hands-off leadership role with a strong emphasis on site performance.

Qualifications

• Proven management and leadership experience within an engineering or maintenance environment.
• Hands‑off management approach, with the ability to delegate and develop a team through Lead Engineers.
• Previous experience within FMCG manufacturing.
• NVQ Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large team of engineers, including senior engineers and shift engineers.
• Drive maintenance performance, equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
• Develop engineering talent and Lead Engineers.
• Manage maintenance budgets and spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
