Job summary

Scolmore Group is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team at the Tamworth head office. You will provide first and second line support across a multi-site business, taking ownership of incidents and guiding them to resolution, with a focus on delivering high-quality end-user IT support.

You will support Microsoft 365 apps, Windows 11 workstations, device deployment, and Active Directory/Entra ID management, while participating in out-of-hours rotations and helping to maintain

Qualifications

• Passion for technology and a drive to develop that interest.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with strong communication.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 apps, Windows 10/11 and IT ticketing systems.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Understanding of endpoint security and MFA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support across the business.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support via phone, email, remote and in person.
• Own incidents from start to resolution and escalate when required.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Manage Windows 11 desktop/laptop environments.
