Job summary

Hireful is seeking an experienced HR Manager to deliver a practical, responsive HR service across a varied UK workforce. You will own day-to-day HR operations, employee relations and key projects, advising managers and maintaining accurate records to improve the employee experience.

This generalist role requires CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, five years of HR experience, knowledge of UK employment law, payroll coordination, reporting, and a collaborative approach to policy updates and process

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent practical HR experience.
• Strong generalist HR experience with a varied ER caseload.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience with organisational change, consultation and redundancy.
• Experience with HR systems, payroll inputs, benefits and reporting.
• Clear written and verbal communication; accurate documentation.
• Proficient Excel and data analysis for workforce information.
• Ability to advise managers, challenge constructively and maintain discretion.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail; manage priorities.
• Collaborative approach with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations cases: disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, and flexible working.
• Support organisational change, consultation, restructures and redundancy.
• Advise and coach managers on employment matters, applying UK law.
• Oversee offers, contracts, onboarding, changes and offboarding.
• Ensure right-to-work checks and accurate employee records.
• Coordinate performance reviews, development activities and recruitment support.
• Work with Finance/payroll to ensure monthly inputs and changes are accurate.
• Support salary reviews, benefits, and respond to queries.
• Maintain HR systems and produce workforce reports.
• Coordinate HR admin for international employees with external providers.
• Deliver HR projects and update policies to improve service quality.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
