Whitbread's Reading Winnersh Premier Inn is hiring a Duty Manager. Working 35 hours per week, you’ll lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to keep guests happy and the hotel running smoothly.

You’ll coach team members, resolve guest queries and handle busy periods with calm leadership. If you enjoy making decisions on the floor and developing your career toward hotel management, this is a strong starting point at a trusted UK brand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in hospitality or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to manage shifts and coordinate multiple departments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• As Duty Manager, lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support reception, housekeeping, and the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
