Job summary

Whitbread is hiring a Duty Manager for the London Edgware Premier Inn. You will lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant, ensuring a smooth guest experience and well-supported team. You’ll spend your shift solving problems, briefing the team, and guiding operations to maintain high standards.

The role offers 35 guaranteed hours per week, with a fixed-term contract until November 2026. Pay is up to £14.36 per hour, reflecting frontline hotel leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in customer-facing environments is preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage shifts and coordinate multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and give pre-shift briefings.
• Coach and support team members throughout the day.
• Assist guests with questions and solve problems.
• Coordinate between reception, housekeeping and restaurant.
• Identify issues early and resolve them.
• Maintain guest safety and smooth hotel operations.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
