G-Research in London is offering a Security Operations internship for a year, with mentoring and hands-on exposure to enterprise security operations.

You will investigate security alerts, support threat intelligence, detection engineering, forensics and malware analysis under guidance from experienced engineers. The role is based in Central London with a standard 9:00–17:30 schedule and a placement year graduating in 2029.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in a Cyber Security degree with placement year.
• Graduating in 2029.
• Strong interest in cyber security and solid technical foundation.
• Proactive, methodical approach to problem solving.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Predicted grade of 2:1 or above.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the first point of contact for cyber security matters within the business.
• Investigate security alerts across Windows, Linux, Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Lead triage and coordination of security incidents raised across the organisation.
• Conduct threat hunting across a large centralised data lake.
• Use threat intelligence sources to enhance and tune existing detection capabilities.
• Work with our interface backed by SIEM tools from Azure, Elastic and AWS.
