Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers plc is offering a full-time Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months. You will work in a busy kitchen, learning hands-on under experienced chefs while pursuing a nationally recognised qualification.

The programme includes work-based training, a mentor support, and opportunities for progression across our 19 brands. No prior experience is required, and you will gain practical skills and industry qualifications while contributing to guest experiences.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Commitment to high brand standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with the kitchen team to prepare, cook and present food to brand standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and back of house areas.
• Follow stock rotation, prep and par processes and assist with within-shift tasks.
• Support team members and participate in meetings and training modules.
• Adhere to licensing laws, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
