Are you experienced in leading, managing, encouraging, and empowering teams, especially in fast-paced, unionized environments? Join Sainsbury’s as a Warehouse Team Manager within our Operational Execution, Supply Chain & Logistics team at the distribution centre, and play a key role in maintaining our supply chain excellence.

Your role will involve managing daily warehouse activities, resource allocation, and team capability, ensuring consistent performance and standards across operations. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including stores, and identifying efficiencies and improvement opportunities will be crucial. You will also oversee compliance and support our People Plan through HR initiatives.

To succeed, you should understand relevant legislation, policies, and processes related to people management, safety, health, and environment. A proven track record of inspiring large teams, building stakeholder relationships, and making decisions in dynamic environments is essential. Your ability to identify process improvements, influence change, stay focused under pressure, and seek support when needed will be highly valued.
