We are recruiting for a talented and passionate individual to join the Trust as a Team Manager within our busy and creative Children in Care Service.
As a Team Manager, you will lead and coach your team to provide outstanding performance within their individual roles. You will oversee care planning for our children and young people, where we strive to achieve permanence at the earliest opportunity. You will manage the day-to-day requirements of a busy Children in Care team where one day is never the same. Supporting your team to form consistent relationships and connections with children and young people through a trauma informed lens is central to our work. You will work in collaboration with other professionals across the Trust and alongside other agencies, upholding the values of the Trust in all interactions.
You will be responsible for delivering and disseminating service priorities within your team, whilst ensuring high standards of practice and positive outcomes for children. This is a varied and vigorous role, and requires an ambitious, forward-thinking individual who is able to create an aspirational team culture.
This is a fantastic opportunity, working in a supportive collaborative environment where children and young people are at the heart of everything we do. The role is integral to realising our vision and you will lead a team of social workers, adopting our connections count, relationship-based practice model, in ensuring good quality services for children in care and those subject to care proceedings.
