Shape warehouse operations with the UK's leading business supplies distributor! At EVO Group's state-of-the-art Normanton distribution centre, we're seeking a proactive Warehouse Team Leader to support our leadership team and manage a dedicated warehouse team.

Be a key player in achieving business targets! You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, ensuring a safe and efficient environment while driving team performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop your warehouse team.
• Drive performance, embed continuous improvement, and facilitate change.
• Monitor KPIs, report on operational performance, and flag issues.
• Champion Health & Safety, fostering a near-miss culture.
• Investigate incidents and support risk assessments.
• Contribute to improving working practices.
• Ensure completion of appraisals and training plans.
• Oversee stock management procedure adherence.
• Deputise for management colleagues when needed.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in a WMS-controlled warehouse.
• Experience leading and managing teams in a distribution or operational setting.
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication and IT skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong teamwork, organisational, and time management abilities.
• A keen eye for detail.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Manhattan or equivalent WMS.
