TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a mainstream Primary School in Abergavenny, Wales. You will provide one-to-one support to a child with Autism/ASD, helping with learning, communication and daily classroom activities in the Early Years setting.
This role is mornings-only, part-time, with a long-term contract. Ideal candidates have experience in Early Years or Primary settings, experience with ALN/Autism, and a patient, supportive attitude.
Do you have experience supporting children with additional learning needs?
Are you confident providing one-to-one support to a child with Autism / ASD?
Do you have experience using Makaton or an interest in developing your communication skills?
