Job summary

Naylor's Equestrian Llp in the United Kingdom is seeking a capable Gym Manager to lead daily operations, uphold standards, and grow membership.

You will supervise the site, ensure health and safety, drive sales, and inspire a team of staff and contractors, while delivering outstanding member service. Candidates should have leisure management experience and a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, with a proven track record in leadership and customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management role within a leisure-related industry.
• Passionate about customer service with inspirational leadership.
• Qualification to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor.
• Experience driving sales and coordinating local marketing.
• Assistant Manager or Fitness Manager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational running of the gym at all times.
• Open and close site according to hours.
• Work early mornings, late weekdays and weekends.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures.
• Adhere to JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct safety checks daily, weekly, monthly; report defects.
• Aim to achieve sales and membership targets.
• Drive and maximise secondary spend revenue.
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness and supervise cleaners.
• Ensure uniform standards are maintained by team.
• Deliver outstanding member service.
• Create an enjoyable environment for team and contractors.
• Undertake other duties/meetings as required.
• Be an ambassador of JD Gyms.
