Job summary

PureGym Ltd. in Leeds is seeking a General Assistant to uphold outstanding cleanliness, safety and standards across the gym, delivering a welcoming member experience on every visit.

In this role you will clean and sanitise equipment and facilities, restock supplies, and support the team with daily housekeeping while providing friendly, proactive member service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or facilities role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and presentational standards.
• Excellent customer service mindset and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Regularly clean and sanitise gym equipment, facilities, studios and high-touch surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the gym with housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitise sanitary facilities including toilets and showers.
• Dust and wipe surfaces to keep the club welcoming and tidy.
• Remove litter and ensure member-facing spaces are hazard-free.
• Conduct gym standards checks and record results as required.
• Restock cleaning stations and consumables to maintain stock levels.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for members and staff.
• Respond to member feedback regarding cleanliness and facilities.
• Carry out regular gym resets to keep floors tidy and ready for use.
